‘Big miss’, ‘Incredible since the restart’ – MOT Super Fans pick Leeds starting XI v Blackburn
Leeds United travel to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday looking to forget Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw with Luton Town at Elland Road.
Marcelo Bielsa once again went with an unchanged starting line-up at Elland Road, with Pablo Hernandez being forced to start from the bench again.
Stuart Dallas saved Leeds’ blushes with a second-half equaliser, but the Northern Irish international could be ruled out for the clash in Lancashire.
Leeds’ utility man hobbled off towards the end of the game with what looked like a disappointing injury.
Liam Cooper was also taken off in the draw, and it didn’t look promising as he struggled to walk to the dressing room without strong assistance.
Kalvin Phillips shared on Thursday evening that neither of those two had trained with the squad since that draw, but that they are hopeful of both making an appearance.
Everyone knows that Bielsa likes to train with the starting XI for each game in the build-up to each clash, and that could mean that we should expect two changes at Ewood Park.
We asked our esteemed panel of Super Fans for their starting line-ups on Saturday, and they expect some changes.
Here’s what they said…

So, it appears that the change that everyone expects to see is Ezgjan Alioski in for Dallas and there won’t be many complaints about that.
The Macedonian has been superb since the restart, with his non-stop running causing real problems for both Fulham and Luton.
Alioski scored against Fulham and got the all-important assist on Tuesday, and his attacking output has become a real weapon for Bielsa, having three attempts on goal in the last two fixtures despite only playing the second-half in both [WhoScored].
