Liverpool not interested in signing Leeds forward Patrick Bamford - Journalist
Liverpool are not interested in signing Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford this summer, according to David Anderson.
The Athletic sensationally reported recently that Liverpool are among the clubs admiring the Whites talisman, and potentially taking an interest.
David Ornstein was sharing the news that Bamford had signed a new secret contract at Elland Road to add an extra year to his current deal.
Writing on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday, Mirror journalist Anderson shared the major update on the future of the striker.
“From what I’m hearing, Liverpool are NOT interested in signing Patrick Bamford as much as Jurgen Klopp respects him,” he wrote.
“Leeds fans can relax, he isn’t going anywhere.”

There was never really a massive fear from Leeds fans that Bamford would be leaving to join Liverpool in the upcoming summer.
Jurgen Klopp has made it clear this season that he is a massive fan of the striker, but that doesn’t instantly mean that he wants to make a move.
Marcelo Bielsa has already told the Leeds board that Bamford cannot be sold this summer, no matter how much money is placed on the table.
That is a huge vote of confidence alongside his new contract, and El Loco clearly sees the talisman as the player who can fire the Whites into Europe.
It was reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post recently that Bamford’s new contract will be announced once the season is over, and we can all relax knowing that he isn’t going anywhere.
