Jesse Marsch shares ‘incredibly intelligent’ Junior Firpo fix for Leeds United
Jesse Marsch has urged the Leeds United players to find a way to get better despite the ‘costly’ injury to Junior Firpo.
The Dominican Republic international was stretchered off with oxygen following a suspected knee injuryin the Whites’ 3-0 loss against Aston Villa.
The American has since called upon the “incredibly intelligent” Stuart Dallas to fill in for the 25-year-old.

Marsch The Yorkshire Post: “It will be costly. Any time you lose a player, it is tough.
“We will have to play Stuart at left-back, he can manage that, it’s probably his best position.
“He is incredibly intelligent [and] he can manage it. We have to find a way with adversity to get better.”
Not surprising
It is typical of this season that another senior player in the squad finds themselves out injured with what looks like a very serious injury.
It hasn’t done Marsch any favours at all despite the positive spin he put on the injury, as expected from the new boss.

Dallas can play left-back very well but that doesn’t change the fact he is a right sided player.
The Whites will now have to shift a player out of position which will leave a gap to be filled in yet another area which really isn’t ideal.
Marsch had a mountain to climb anyway with the extremely difficult circumstances he joined the club. It wasn’t just the teams from but taking charge after a club legend that the fans desperately didn’t want to see go is tough.
The former RB Leipzig boss now has more to deal with in Leeds’ fight for Premier League survival as this shambles of a squad is hit with another hammer blow.
