BBC pundit Charlie Adam: Rangers star Ryan Kent was all over the place after Leeds transfer talk
Charlie Adam has insisted that Ryan Kent was “all over the place” after transfer talk linking with a move from Rangers to Leeds United.
The BBC pundit then admitted that the winger has been “phenomenal” after getting over his injury woes at Ibrox.
Phil Hay shared back in 2021 that the Whites have tracked Kent for many windows, but were unhappy with his valuation at the time.
Speaking live on PLZ Soccer on Friday [01 April], Adam pointed out the interest from Elland Road over the summer.
“The injury killed him,” he said. “The start of the season he never started well.
“I think, obviously, linked with Leeds and things like that, probably his head was all over the place, and then picked up a couple of injuries.

“Never really stayed fit for a bit, come back from that, the injuries really well, back in the European games, he’s been phenomenal.”
Premier League.
That is the one place that Kent will now want to prove himself.
He has done it in Europe, has done it in Scotland, but never really got the chance at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.
Sky Sports have recently mooted yet another summer move for the winger from Leeds, as they looked ahead to potential transfers in 2022.
Rangers have a huge month ahead in terms of going as far in the Europa League as they can and winning the league and cup.
Kent will be critical to those chances, so the last thing the Gers need is more transfer talk distracting their star man.
Victor Orta will know the winger well and could want to move again in the summer as his contract hits the final year, but will Jesse Marsch want the same thing?
