'Raphinha masterclass incoming' - Many Leeds & Everton fans react to 'Massive' pre-match update

Everton fans are concerned about their team’s chances of beating Leeds United this weekend after it was reported that left-back Lucas Digne will miss out due to an ankle injury.

Digne, 27, has reportedly been ruled out for two months due to injuring his ankle in training this week [France Football].

It is understood the ex-Barcelona left-back could be forced to undergo surgery and is likely to miss some huge upcoming fixtures for the Toffees.

The first fixture Digne will miss will be against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds at Goodison Park on Saturday and Everton fans are tweeting their concerns about that game after seeing the latest on their left-back.

We’re not surprised by some Everton fans being concerned ahead of the game because Digne has assisted four goals in his eight Premier League appearances this season.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has seen three of his goals set up by the Frenchman who, according to WyScout, averages more crosses per 90 minutes than any player in the English top-flight [6.4].

Leeds fans have also been reacting to the big news ahead of kick-off on Merseyside.

While they clearly don’t like to see a player get injured, some are suggesting that Raphinha could have a field day at Goodison Park without Digne to mark him.

In other Leeds United news, fans have hit out at this “clown” of a pundit for his on-air rant about the Whites.
