Leeds United fans will continue to follow Lucas Perri's displays at Torino with intrigue, as the goalkeeper's turnaround continues.

Perri is on loan with the Serie A side for the rest of the campaign, ahead of a possible £13.5million permanent move next summer.

If Torino opt against triggering that clause, the Brazilian will be back at Elland Road and likely on the lookout for another club.

The 28-year-old made a very slow start to his time in Turin, but that has all changed in the space of a week.

Perri was again in action for Torino on Friday night as they beat Monza 3-2 in the Italian top flight.

That win moved Il Toro up to seventh in the standings, with one moment in particular in the match blowing away the Italian media.

What did Lucas Perri pull off vs Monza?

Perri enjoyed his best match yet for Torino last week in the win over Parma, as he kept a clean sheet for the first time.

There was no shutout against Monza on Friday, with two goals conceded, but the goalkeeper was devoid of any blame for those.

And he actually came away with lots of credit for a save made to deny Ricardo Mangas at a crucial moment.

Tuttomercato gave Perri a 7/10 rating, which was the joint-second highest, and said: "A feline and prodigious leap to stop a sure-fire header from Mangas, saving the result at the most crucial moment of the second half."

As for Cuore Toro, they also pointed out Perri was not to blame for the goals conceded and added: "Only one noteworthy save, but it's a super save."

And Eurosport Italy were also impressed by the save, which was as good as a goal at the other end, as they wrote: "True, he conceded two goals, but he was still decisive: what a reflex on Mangas' header."

It is fair to say Perri is starting to build some momentum at Torino, which can only be a good thing for Leeds as they look to recoup their transfer fee.

What Lucas Perri development has happened off the pitch this week?

It emerged this week that Perri has reached a personal agreement away from Leeds.

The former Lyon goalkeeper has agreed to extend his partnership with agency LEFT Sports for another three years.

Having moved around clubs freely over the past few years, Perri knows the importance of having a good agent behind him.

While his Elland Road career is surely over before it truly began, Perri is showing that is still a more-than-capable goalkeeper who can cut it at the top level.
