Lucas Perri already completes 'miracle' after several errors away from Leeds United
Lucas Perri is already heavily in the media after leaving Leeds United on loan.
Despite being the worst kept secret, the Brazilian eventually joined Torino on loan in Italy.
Replaced by James Trafford, Leeds are laughing with their record-signing already on fire at Elland Road.
With Michael Zetterer also arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt as number two, there was no room for Perri.
After only one year, the goalkeeper could leave permanently should his loan move go successfully.
Unfortunately, Leeds fans will know that won't always be the case.
Lucas Perri makes a name for himself in Italy already
Sometimes, it's a blessing or a curse if your name ends up in the media immediately after arriving at your new club.
For Perri, it's a case of both, it seems.
The South American has played two games already for the Toro, with differing levels of success.
As Toro Italy state on their website, Perri was at fault for Torino's early exit from the Coppa Italia against Monza.
In that one, he spilled a simple shot into the net from Dany Mota.
Next up, it was Wilfried Gnonto's Fiorentina in Serie A, which thankfully for the keeper, ended in a 2-1 win.
The same media outlet revealed that Perri completed two "miracle" saves, but also made yet another high-profile error.
Describing his start as Jekyll and Hyde, the goalkeeper will likely need to be more consistent to earn his permanent move.
How much could Leeds earn from Lucas Perri sale?
After a good start to the window, getting rid of deadwood permanently, old habits started to reappear in LS11.
Leeds loaned out Perri, Gnonto, Joel Piroe and Largie Ramazani, all with options or obligations to buy at the end of them.
In Perri's case, late interest from Marseille allowed Leeds to raise the end option at Torino, to more than the initial £9.4million.
The consistent embarrassing errors leading to goals won't help after two in as many games, but Perri getting minutes will only help him.
After doing the exact same at Leeds, something needs to change if he wants to find a consistent home for many years.
For now, he needs to focus on solving those negatives.
