Leeds United predicted XI vs Arsenal: Daniel Farke wrestles new injuries with unpopular change
Leeds United are finally back in action as they travel to face Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites return to the Premier League with their hardest trip of the season against the champions.
Daniel Farke has enjoyed a positive start to the season, and still remains unbeaten in the league.
Leeds are fifth after five games, and also have the joint-best defensive record in the entire division.
After the extended international break, the players will return to Thorp Arch for individual assessments.
It could see some changes made at the Emirates, as MOT Leeds News look at the possible starting XI.
Leeds look to build on rock solid defence
If you'd have told anybody five years ago that Leeds would have had the toughest defence around, they've had laughed.
It starts with record signing James Trafford, who is loving life at Elland Road and finding a true home that appreciates him.
Jayden Bogle started the season in sensational fashion, and he should continue at right-wing-back at the Emirates.
On the opposite flank, Gabriel Gudmundsson should continue after some valuable minutes with Sweden over the break.
That leaves the back three, which could remain as Nico Elvedi, Tarik Muharemovic and James Justin.
Joe Rodon is almost back from injury, while Jaka Bijol is struggling to break back in after being dropped.
Leeds have midfield magic
A trip to the Champions League may see Leeds switch from a midfield two, to a three, dropping an attacking man back.
That means Anton Stach could play much deeper and actually slot in beside Ao Tanaka to try to combat the Gunners.
Ethan Ampadu is predicted to hold in midfield yet again, with the captain everywhere for Wales during this break.
Attacking change at Arsenal?
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be predicted to start as the lone striker in every single matchday he is fit this season.
That is simply a guarantee for Leeds.
One change could come alongside him, though, with Noah Okafor possibly dropping out for Brenden Aaronson.
Leeds fans certainly won't like that, but we know that Farke loves the American and what he can bring off the ball.
Playing him at Arsenal is a recognition that Leeds will be up against it for most of the game, and playing the long ball to Calvert-Lewin to mop up scraps is key.
That means Bogle and Gudmundsson will need to be bombing forward as much as they can, but keeping it tight for long periods could see the game open up late on.
That is when the likes of Okafor could be called upon to make a difference.
