Bosnian media reacts to Tarik Muharemovic as Leeds United star gatecrashes media
Tarik Muharemovic has continued his sensational start to the season over the international break.
The Leeds United defender has been rock solid since arriving at Elland Road from Sassuolo over the summer.
Replacing Pascal Struijk at the back, Muharemovic has certainly been £34million well spent by the 49ers Enterprises.
That continued on Monday evening.
Helping to keep another clean sheet, Bosnia defeat Poland 1-0 in the UEFA Nations League.
Muharemovic and his country finished the break unbeaten with eight points, and the local media were loving his work again.
How did Bosnia react to Tarik Muharemovic?
After keeping Robert Lewandowski out in the reverse fixture, the legendary striker wasn't involved at all in this one.
A late penalty from Ivan Basic secured all three points for the Bosnians.
SOP rated Muharemovic a 7.6/10 for his performance, with only Nikola Katic securing a better score.
Described as "one of the most important players" in defence, he was dominant in his duels.
That was backed up by Klix, who also point out how Muharemovic gatecrashed the media zone with a large speaker after the victory.
They mention that, despite the fatigue of the defender, he told them how he'd love to have stayed and played more for his country.
Leeds will disagree with Tarik Muharemovic
The Bosnian defender is simply a machine, and he has once again continued that with huge minutes.
Playing the likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Lewandowksi will help, too.
That's because Leeds return to action with their hardest trip of the season, to Premier League champions, Arsenal.
With Kai Havertz possibly injured, Gyokeres could start in that.
Daniel Farke knows that the likes of Muharemovic will need to hit top levels for Leeds to even leave with a point.
With Manchester United coming to Elland Road after that, it's a huge week.
Muharemovic is clearly in amazing spirits, though, and he'll be looking to bring that back to LS11 for a massive run of fixtures.
Bournemouth, Sunderland, Spurs and Chelsea follow, so Leeds will need their squad back and firing.
Thankfully, injuries have been limited compared to some.
