Leeds United fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Brentford on Sunday.

Daniel Farke made just one change to his side that beat Nottingham Forest on his side's opening Premier League game of the season, taking Harry Wilson out for Noah Okafor.

But the Whites didn't get off to a good start at Elland Road, with the first piece of bad news coming when Joe Rodon was forced off with a hamstring injury.

Kevin Schade then gave the Bees a deserved lead before the break, with a delicate flick that left James Trafford rooted to the spot.

The Whites then kept plugging away in the second 45, eventually finding the net after Dominic Calvert-Lewin tapped in a drilled ball across the box from Lukas Nmecha.

Leeds will take the point and move on, with their tally now up to four after two games.

Anton Stach keeps improving for Leeds

Anton Stach appears to be going strength to strength for the Whites.

He made an astonishing 11 defensive contributions in just the first 45 minutes, including one vital sliding intervention to prevent Brentford from scoring an easy opportunity at the back post.

The German also made six line-breaking passes, winning 75 per cent of his eight ground duels.

Farke moved Stach into the 10 role in a 4-2-3-1 formation after the break, and he looked at home there.

Fortunately, his teammates were able to help him out in the final third to earn a result.

Brenden Aaronson has surely lost spot after Brentford display

Brenden Aaronson followed up his start in the 1-0 win over Forest with another against Brentford.

The American is often a target for Leeds fans, and needs to prove his worth of starting, especially after a poor individual end to last season.

However, the attacking midfielder was a key reason why Brentford had sustained pressure in the first half, and was rightfully hooked for Okafor at the break.

Aaronson completed neither of his two attempted dribbles, and was dribbled past twice.

He won zero per cent of duels in the air, and just 33 per cent of his duels on the ground, and may lose his spot to Okafor from now on.
