Leeds United are looking for back-to-back Premier League wins over Manchester United on Sunday.

The Whites ran out 2-1 winners in the most recent league meeting at Old Trafford back in April.

Noah Okafor bagged a brace that day, just months after Daniel Farke's side earned a 1-1 draw against the Red Devils at Elland Road in January.

Leeds and Man United is one of the fiercest rivalries in English football, and is a fixture both sets of supporters immediately look for on fixture release day.

This Sunday's game could be an extremely tight affair in LS11, with Michael Carrick under growing pressure after his sides' slow start to the season.

Ahead of it, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has revealed how he sees the latest renewal of this rivalry panning out.

What has Jamie Carragher said about Leeds' chances vs Man United?

This is one of those games where both sets of fans simply can't predict their team to lose.

The thought of defeat in this fixture is too painful for both to bare, as the nerves continue to build ahead of 2pm on Sunday.

One pundit who is never afraid to put his neck on the line with his predictions and opinions is Carragher.

Speaking via the Super 6 website, the Liverpool legend certainly isn't the biggest fan of Man United, and that's been reflected in his score prediction.

"I can see Leeds beating (Man) United with the crowd behind them at Elland Road. 2-1," said the 48-year-old.

So, aside from the obvious of it being a big three points for Leeds, why would a win over the Red Devils be such a momentous occasion?

When was the last time Leeds beat Man United at Elland Road?

Despite being unbeaten in their last two competitive games against Man United, this fixture has more recently been dominated by the Mancunians.

The Red Devils have won eight and lost just the once from their last 13 meetings in all competitions with Leeds since 2011.

As such, the Whites faithful have been waiting a long time to see their side defeat Man United at Elland Road.

In fact, the last time they did so was all the way back in September 2002, when a Harry Kewell header earned Leeds a 1-0 Premier League win.

Since then, Leeds have played Man United seven times at LS11 in all competitions, with the away side winning five of those.

Witness then the sheer scale of how massive three points would be for Leeds against the Old Trafford outfit on Sunday.
