Leeds United's Gabriel Gudmundsson continued his unbeaten start to the Nations League with Sweden in a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was the first time that Graham Potter and the Whites defender had dropped points in League B of the competition.

Daniel Farke will be delighted that his fullback has got more minutes in the tank, after he missed the opening of the Premier League season through injury.

However, he would also have been cautiously watching on as Gudmundsson was medically forced off in Sweden's previous game.

The German manager had another reason to tune into Sweden's fixture against Bosnia, as fellow defender Tarik Muharemovic was also involved in the action.

But, here is how Gudmundsson managed to fare against his teammate, as the Swedish media issue their verdict.

What the Swedish media said about Gabriel Gudmundsson vs Bosnia and Herzegovina

Gudmundsson has now played back-to-back 90 minutes for the Swedish national team, and will be hoping to make that three in a row versus Romania.

Selfishly, Farke will be hoping Potter does him a favour, but based on the Leeds man's performance, he looks in line to keep his place.

Swedish outlet SvenskaFans have provided the 27-year-old with a three out of five rating, stating: "Very active, especially in the first half. Made his runs, looked for the ball and was a bit of a yo-yo on his wing. He may have slowed down a bit in the second half, but still a solid performance.

That assessment was backed by Expressen, who have also awarded the same rating for Gudmundsson.

They note his quality in limiting Bosnian Esmir Bajraktarevic on the wing, and that he "showed experience" in what has been described as a "stable effort."

It is not all positive though, as Fotbollskanalen have rated him slightly lower with a two out of five, saying: "Didn't challenge as much as before. Not quite as confident defensively."

Overall, Sweden and Gudmundsson will be disappointed to drop points on this occassion, but they are sitting top of their Nations League group.

With Gudmundsson's potential final game of the international break arriving on 5 October against Romania.

Why Melvin Bard could have Leeds hope after Gudmundsson international displays

Gudmundsson has had a solid international break so far, but with Melvin Bard at LS11, Farke will have been able to get a closer look at the Frenchman.

The Whites will need to be careful with Gudmundsson's fitness, and if he does play three 90 minute matches in quick succession, Bard may be called upon to reduce the Swede's load.

The Frenchman has only featured twice for the Elland Road side so far, but his time may be on the way.
