Leeds United have enjoyed a fantastic start to the Premier League season.

The Whites' hierarchy backed Daniel Farke in the summer transfer window as they look to improve on last season's 14th-place finish.

So far, Leeds have taken nine points from five Premier League games, including wins over Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.

That has left Leeds fifth in the table from five games, and they will look to take that momentum to champions Arsenal on Saturday.

However, while things have gone pretty well for Leeds this term, there are some players who haven't hit the heights they might have hoped.

Here, MOT Leeds News looks at three players whose stock has decreased since the start of the season.

Harry Wilson

There was a lot of excitement about the arrival of Harry Wilson during the transfer window.

Signed on a free after his contract at Fulham expired, the Wales international felt like a huge upgrade to Leeds' attacking options.

Thus far, though, Farke has struggled to find a spot for Wilson in his favoured 3-4-3 formation, and he has found himself often taking a watching brief from the bench.

It is still very, very early doors in Wilson's career and he has the time and the quality to become an important player, but it has not gone as well as he might have hoped just yet.

Jaka Bijol

Jaka Bijol joined Leeds from Udinese in the summer of 2025, and enjoyed a solid debut campaign at Elland Road.

However, this term he has started just two of Leeds' five Premier League games, and appeared off the bench in another.

Leeds strengthened their defence with the signings of Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi in the window, while James Justin has performed well on the right of a back three.

It is a grind of a season in the Premier League, so Bijol will see plenty of minutes, but right now his regular spot in the team does not feel guaranteed.

Anton Stach

Leeds forked out around £17million to sign Anton Stach from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2025.

The Germany international was a standout performer for Farke's side in the top flight last term.

This season, though, Stach has struggled to hit top form, not helped by a nasty ankle injury that curtailed his chances of playing at the World Cup.

Hopefully Stach can find some momentum and his best form, because when he's on it he is absolute talent.
