Dominic Calvert-Lewin's England fate likely to leave another club unhappy
Leeds United star Dominic Calvert-Lewin faces a nervous wait to find out if he will start for England against Czechia.
The Whites frontman has only featured for seven minutes so far in the international break.
Thomas Tuchel brought him on towards the end of the 3-2 loss to Spain, the first game of the window.
He has not featured since in the UEFA Nations League wins against Czechia and Croatia.
The Three Lions take on the Czechs again on Tuesday evening, with the Peacocks man hoping to feature from the off.
Now, an update has been shared that has told us what Calvert-Lewin's fate will likely be at Wembley.
What's the latest update from England camp?
It looks as though the Leeds ace will have to settle for a place on the bench on Tuesday night.
Rob Dorsett shared an update on Harry Kane, and it suggested that he will start for the fourth straight match - which will not go down well with Bayern Munich.
Speaking live on Sky Sports (5:12 pm), when asked if Kane will start, he said: “I think he will.
"There was no guarantee about that in the last 24 hours or so, because Harry Kane started three games in eight days.
“I’m not sure that Bayern Munich are too keen on the idea of him starting another, but the bottom line is Harry Kane wants to play. He has made that very clear to Thomas Tuchel.
“So, I think he will start.”
That means that it is likely that the Whites star will be brought on as a late substitute, if he is to make it onto the pitch as he was against the World champions in his last cap.
The last two matches suggest that he may not even make it onto the pitch at all.
Why Leeds ace Calvert-Lewin will not be surprised if he is snubbed again
It is not surprise that Calvert-Lewin will likely start on the bench again
The first one if that Kane will equal the record for the most caps for the national team in the clash, going level with Peter Shilton.
The second is that Tuchel has constantly shown that he does not really rate the Leeds hitman.
He was left out of the World Cup squad in the summer, despite being in better form that Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins, who were named in the squad.
He will be absolutely livid with how his international break has gone, as his form has warranted more time on the pitch
One man who may well be ecstatic is Daniel Farke, as the 29-year-old striker will come back to Thorp Arch with very little energy expended in a time where key players often get injured.
