Zion Suzuki's whereabouts emerge amid doubt over role in Parma training after Leeds bid
Zion Suzuki is reportedly "ready to leave" Parma after Leeds United submitted a bid to sign him.
Suzuki, 23, has been strongly linked with a move to Elland Road this summer as Daniel Farke bids to improve his options in between the sticks.
Karl Darlow has already left Leeds to join bitter rivals Manchester United, while doubts remain over Lucas Perri's role in West Yorkshire after an underwhelming debut season that saw him lost the No 1 spot to Darlow.
Illan Meslier has also said goodbye to Leeds, paving the way to sign a new goalkeeper, with an offer reportedly made for Suzuki.
Earlier on Monday, MOT Leeds News relayed news from Italy which said that the Whites have bid £25.4million, plus bonuses, for the Japan international.
It is understood that Parma, however, want £34m for the goalkeeper, but an update from Emilia-Romagna now suggested the tide is turning in Leeds' favour.

USA-born Suzuki, who represented Japan in the World Cup this summer, played 20 times for Parma in Serie A last season, with a broken hand the only thing that limited his game time.
He's clearly their No 1 choice in goals and selling him has never been something the Italian club has wanted to do.
However, an update from ParmaLive on Monday has reported that Suzuki is prepared to bid farewell to the Serie A outfit ahead of a potential move to the Premier League.
It is understood that Suzuki is due to join up with the Parma squad this week at their headquarters in Collecchio.
However, ParmaLive says there's uncertaily of "whether Suzuki will actually participate in the training camp in Pinzolo along with the rest of the squad".
And what does that mean for Leeds?
Leeds are battling Aston Villa and Newcastle in the race to sign Suzuki, who has had two impressive seasons with Parma.
The Yorkshire club has opened the bidding for him, there's a vacancy at No 1 and they already have a Japanese teammate at the club in Ao Tanaka, which should put them in the driving seat.
How this affects Leeds will largely depend on how Parma will react to the news that Suzuki is looking to leave, whether or not he trains with them, and if rival clubs sense a weakness and start bidding too.
Ultimately, more rivals bids could force up the price that Parma want.
However, Villa and Newcastle are restricted a bit in terms of what they can do in the transfer market, so this could have given Leeds an open goal to get the deal done as soon as possible.
