Wilson agrees personal terms for new transfer after Leeds United news
Leeds United have been linked with a move for Callum Wilson this summer.
The striker is available on a free transfer after leaving Newcastle United at the end of the season and could be an ideal replacement for the potentially outgoing Patrick Bamford at Elland Road.
Leeds are also expected to sanction the sale of Mateo Joseph this summer after the Spaniard handed in a transfer request amid interest from Real Betis.
Daniel Farke’s options in attack were bolstered by the signing of Lukas Nmecha earlier in the window, but the German will be expecting further reinforcements as he prepares for the Premier League opener.

Wilson agrees personal terms with West Ham
Wilson has suffered from extensive injury issues in the past two seasons, making just 18 Premier League appearances in his final campaign at St James’ Park.
But the 33-year-old does possess proven Premier League quality, having enjoyed several years at Bournemouth before joining Newcastle in 2020.
Just two years ago, the forward registered 18 Premier League goals for the Magpies even while missing seven games.

But Leeds fans have been unimpressed by the links, with Wilson’s impressive scoring record unable to outweigh the likelihood of further injuries.
In that respect, it will come as some relief to hear the news that, according to talkSPORT (25 July), Wilson has agreed terms on a move to West Ham.
The forward has agreed a minimal basic salary with the Hammers, with bonuses included depending on goals and appearances.
Leeds must focus on Rodrigo Muniz
Despite Leeds’ interest in Wilson, their top target up front is thought to be Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz.
The Whites are hopeful of completing a deal for the Brazilian in the coming weeks, despite the Cottagers’ reluctance to sanction his sale.
Muniz would be a fantastic option for Farke, having scored eight Premier League goals last season despite being largely reduced to appearances off the bench.
The 24-year-old could well become a key man for Leeds if he can beat off the competition of Farke’s top scorer last season, Joel Piroe.
