What Leeds United now plan as Max Aarons could lead late-window transfer flurry
Leeds United look ready to ramp up their business late in the summer window, with Bournemouth's Max Aarons among those who could arrive.
Daniel Farke has so far been backed with four new first-team signings for a combined fee of around £87.5million
While other clubs have made far more signings, and spent a lot more money, United's business can be considered positive on the whole.
However, one or two more signings would be welcome as far as Farke is concerned ahead of the 11pm deadline on Tuesday.
And it looks as though the Whites are about to get serious with their pursuit of Aarons among others.

What is the latest on Leeds' pursuit of Max Aarons?
Leeds have been showing an interest in Aarons for a while now.
The 26-year-old is predominantly used as a right-back, but he can also provide cover on the left.
That means he can provide cover for Gabriel Gudmundsson, with that one of Leeds' priorities before the window shuts.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, who writes for The Sun and Goal among others, "Leeds are due to accelerate their signings in the next 48 hours".
Aarons is named as a player on the Whites' list of targets, with time ticking down to strike an agreement with Bournemouth.
The former Norwich City player is said to have a lot of Premier League interest, with Coventry City another team showing an interest.
Why Aarons would be ideal Daniel Farke signing
Beyond his ability to play in multiple positions, Aarons is already well known to Farke.
The pair worked together at Norwich during the defender's early days.
Speaking in 2021, as per Breaking the Lines, Farke said of Aarons: "He is no longer one of the best young players. He is one of the best players.
"He is a special player and he has an unbelievable future."
Aarons' career has not quite taken off in the way Farke may have expected, but he still very much has time on his side.
