Vedat Muriqi tops Lazio transfer list, Leeds United want to sign him
Lazio have put Vedat Muriqi at the top of their transfer list amid interest from Leeds United, according to La Lazio Siamo Noi.
The Italian news outlet reports that although Lazio have already made sales this month, they need to sell more in order to be able to bring in new faces.
It is understood that Muriqi, 27, is at the top of the list to be sold next with Leeds, West Brom, CSKA Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow keen on the Kosovo striker.

Not needed
Leeds do not need Muriqi.
If he was a superb striker who can score goals for fun or if he was a young up-and-comer who could be a start of the game in the future, then we’d be happy for Victor Orta to sign him.
However, Muriqi is neither of those and we really fail to see how he could be a wise addition at Leeds United.
Marcelo Bielsa has had an injury crisis in almost every position this season and the centre-forward role is one that has been massively affected.

Patrick Bamford has been injured almost all season while Rodrigo has suffered from poor form and has also been injured and youngsters Sam Greenwood, Joe Gelhardt have also had injuries.
Daniel James has had to play up front, as has Tyler Roberts and neither are natural in that role and neither are good enough.
Muriqi is a natural striker but does he come across as a striker who suits Bielsa’s style of play? No, he doesn’t.
Firstly, Muriqi’s two goals in a season and a half at Lazio show that he won’t solve the struggles to find the back of the net at Elland Road.
Secondly, he’s more of a powerhouse of a striker and doesn’t drop back like Bamford does to link up with the midfield.
Muriqi? No, thanks.
