Sky Sports host makes unexpected prediction for Leeds United clash v Millwall
David Prutton has predicted Millwall to beat Leeds United when the sides go head-to-head on Sunday (17 September).
Writing on the Sky Sports website on 13 September, the presenter said the Lions have had a “couple of decent results in a row” as he expects them to be “there or thereabouts” again this season.
He added that the Whites will be “more relieved” than any other club that the transfer window has closed, but he isn’t sure that stability will help them at The Den after predicting a 2-1 win for the hosts.

“Millwall have had a couple of decent results in a row now to ease the criticism being aimed at Gary Rowett,” said Prutton. “They will undoubtedly be there or thereabouts again this season.
“Leeds will probably be more relieved than any other club that the transfer window is shut, and Daniel Farke can concentrate on what they have. Will that stability help at The Den? I’m not too sure for now. Home win.”
Hard to call
This is a game that’s pretty hard to call as it’s never easy going to The Den and Millwall will be up for it after picking up four points from their last two outings.
Prutton clearly expects it to be a close game, but the presenter just thinks the Lions’ home comforts will give them the edge in this one.
The South London club had an excellent campaign last season as they just missed out on a place in the playoffs on the final day of the season.

But Leeds will also be looking to be in the mix and Daniel Farke will be hoping his side can move forward now following a summer of uncertainty.
The Whites boss will have been working hard with his squad over the international break and will be looking to make a statement when they line up in front of the Sky Sports cameras at the weekend.
