'Saiz-esque', 'Yes please' - Some Leeds fans react to reported hunt to sign 7-goal player

Leeds United are yet to sign any new players this month but their form – and the awful performance at QPR on Saturday – has proven that Marcelo Bielsa needs some new faces in the squad.

Not only is there a need for a new centre-forward but Leeds could do with strengthening in a number of different positions.

One player who has reportedly emerged on Leeds’ radar recently is Rayo Vallecano winger Adrian Embarba.

Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo has reported that the Yorkshire giants are one of a number of sides who are keen to sign the 27-year-old.

West Ham, Norwich, Real Betis and Espanyol are also reported to be hot on the heels of the winger after being impressed by his form this season.

Embarba has scored seven goals and supplied 11 assists in 23 appearances for Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish second-tier and that has led to some Leeds fans being keen to see him arrive at Elland Road this month.

One has even dubbed Embarba as being “Saiz-esque”, although that may just be down to the fact he’s Spanish and playing well in the Segunda Division.

In other Leeds United news, Leeds have launched enquiries for two forwards and one of them has 17 goals this season.
