‘Ridiculous’ offer needed for Leeds United to sell Jack Harrison as well as Raphinha after transfer development
It would take “ridiculous” offer for Leeds United to consider cashing in on Jack Harrison this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Tim Thornton.
Leeds have already sold Kalvin Phillips this summer and they also look set to wave goodbye to Raphinha with a deal agreed for the winger to head to Barcelona [Fabrizio Romano].
Harrison, 25, has also been linked with an Elland Road exit this summer with the Daily Mail reporting on 9 July that Newcastle are weighing up a bid for the Stoke-born winger.

Thornton, however, doesn’t see Harrison joining Raphinha and Phillips on the sold list, claiming that an incredible sum of money would need to be offered to Leeds for it to happen.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Thornton said: “If they lose Raphinha here, I think they’d be very reluctant to let Jack Harrison go unless somebody came in with a ridiculous offer, at which point obviously there will be a conversation to be had.”
Going nowhere
With Phillips gone and Raphinha on the verge of signing for Barcelona, it’s impossible to see how Leeds would entertain any more offers for their star players.
Harrison was one of the stars of the show last season as the Whites avoided relegation from the Premier League.
Only Raphinha outscored the former Manchester City winger, who scored the match-winning goal to keep the Whites in the top-flight on the final day of the season at Brentford.
While he’s had his spells of poor form at Elland Road, on the whole, Harrison has been a class act for Leeds and selling him would be a mistake.

However, it’s hard to tell what the future holds for him after Colombia’s left-back Luis Sinisterra was bought from Feyenoord earlier this month.
While Sinisterra, 23, is seen as a replacement for Raphinha, the Barca-bound Brazilian is a right-winger.
Jesse Marsch may have plans to stick Sinisterra on the right-wing while a change of formation could see Harrison moved to be a left-sided wing-back.
We’ll see what happens but either way, selling him shouldn’t be an option unless, as Thornton says, a massive offer is made.
