Leeds United have set their sights on two more players with Largie Ramazani currently travelling for a medical, according to Sky Sports.

Tim Thornton reported in Sky Sports' Transfer Centre (21 August) that having agreed a deal with Almeria for Ramazani, the 23-year-old forward is on his way to LS11 to complete a medical and finalise the move.

United have also reportedly shown interest in Freiburg's Hungarian international Roland Sallai and Angola winger Manuel Benson from fellow Championship side Burnley, as the 30 August transfer deadline nears.

Largie Ramazani transfer must be first of several for Leeds United

Although Ramazani, Sallai and Benson arguably all fit similar positions in the same team, signing the trio may be seen as a must given the sheer number of goals and assists the Peacocks have lost this summer.

Rutter's six goals and 16 assists in the Championship last season will certainly take some replicating, with 21 goals and 10 assists provided in all competitions by Crysencio Summerville going even further.

That's 53 goal contributions in total from just two players, and if Daniel Farke wants his attacking lineup to be anywhere near as effective this season, Ramazani cannot be the only new face through the doors.

Sallai and Benson's transfers being greenlit in the wake of Ramazani's would help to alleviate a mood of distrust and anger amid the Elland Road crowd, who have also seen academy product Archie Gray sold.

The exits of Gray, Summerville, and most recently Rutter have collected fees which the Whites simply have to spend if they're to stand any chance of promotion, and that spending should be spearheaded by the arrival of a new gung-ho attacking trifecta.
