Ramazani boards plane to UK for Leeds United medical as £6.8m fee agreed
Largie Ramazani is on a flight to England to complete medical tests ahead of a move to Leeds United, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgian journalist reported on 21 August that the Whites have reached an agreement over a £6.8million deal plus potential add-ons for the 23-year-old.
The attacker is now on a plane ahead of his medical which is scheduled in the next 24 hours before penning a contract until June 2028.
Largie Ramazani set for Leeds United medical
Fabrizio Romano has given his “here we go” trademark on this deal with the Belgian set to complete a transfer to Elland Road.
This will come as a huge relief to supporters after a quiet summer transfer window which has frustrated everyone involved.
Only Jayden Bogle and Joe Rothwell have come in while over 15 players have departed in a mass exodus for Daniel Farke to contend with.
The worst of these sales have come in the attacking line with Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter being huge losses to the squad.
Ramazani could prove to be a perfect addition to replace the outbound duo with his versatility to play out wide or through the middle as a striker.
This could prove to be a problem for the likes of Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto but depth in these areas isn’t a bad thing for Leeds to contend with moving deeper into the season.
