Oliver Skipp decides on Leeds United transfer from Tottenham
Leeds United look set to miss out on Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reported online (16 July) that the Whites are keen to sign the 23-year-old as they look to bolster their midfield options.
Daniel Farke is thought to be a big fan of Skipp having worked with him previously at Norwich City.
However, several Premier League clubs are interested in the Spurs man, who is understood to not be considering a move to the Championship.

This will come as a frustrating blow to everybody at Elland Road.
Signing Skipp would have been a huge coup for the club. Following the departures of Archie Gray and Glen Kamara the Whites need some midfield reinforcements.
And the Tottenham ace would have been a high-quality player to add to their squad. In addition, his experience working with Farke previously would have helped him to settle in quickly.
Gray’s move to North London and the arrival of Joe Rodon means Spurs and Leeds have already established quite a positive relationship.
Therefore, negotiations between the two clubs were unlikely to be filled with too many problems.
However, it seems as if it is the player himself who has put a stop to any transfer talks.

It makes sense that Skipp would prefer to remain in the Premier League, and it acts as a reminder of the importance of the West Yorkshire side returning to the top flight of English football next season.
In other Leeds United news, the club have replacements lined up as an Elland Road exit is agreed.
