Noa Lang has Club Brugge release clause, he waits for Leeds United bid
Noa Lang has a release clause in his Club Brugge contract and is waiting for Leeds United to make a move, according to LUFCFANZONE.
They claim a ‘source close to the player’ has told them that he is “ready and waiting” for the Whites who “still like’ the 22-year-old.
In quotes relayed by the LUFCFANZONE Twitter account, the source also said: “There has been no official bid from Leeds at all this window, however Noa has a release clause in his contract – I cannot say how much but it is over £20million.”
Too rich for our blood?
An exact figure for the “incredible” [Jacek Kulig] Dutchman has not been mentioned, but if it is north of £20million, a move appears unlikely with the Whites seemingly happy to keep their hands in their pocket this summer unless good opportunities arise.
It looks like the vast majority of the money was spent last summer and the club want to adopt a more frugal approach now having already spent money on Junior Firpo and Jack Harrison recently, as well as on some young starlets for the Under-23 side.

Lang enjoyed a super 2020/21 campaign in Belgium, scoring 16 goals and supplying seven assists in 29 league appearances, while he honed his talents at the legendary Ajax academy.
He also has Champions League group stage experience but last season was the first time he has made more than nine senior outings in a single campaign, so perhaps the Whites are nervous about spending big money on a relatively unknown quantity.
Leeds have been linked with a number of other attackers, some of whom have more experience in better leagues than Belgium.
It seems that he is keen on a move to West Yorkshire this summer, but we will have to wait and see whether the Whites trigger his release clause.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites want to sign this Portuguese attacking sensation.
