'Must sign', 'Bite both your hands off' – Leeds Super Fans excited by Phil Hay transfer update
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road and Thorp Arch.
Jack Clarke has gone. Eddie Nketiah looks set to follow.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet and it sounds like the Arsenal loanee will be in the squad to face West Brom today, but by all accounts, Nketiah’s time at Elland Road is coming to an end.
Leeds will look for a replacement in January and they’ve been linked with a number of players, including Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster.
According to the Athletic’s Phil Hay (and if anyone knows, he knows), though, Che Adams is the number one target.
What lies in store for Leeds United in January?
– Che Adams top loan target to replace Nketiah
– Liverpool unlikely to let Brewster come
– Jack Clarke replacement targeted
– experienced gk wanted as safety net for when Meslier startshttps://t.co/9suxPtZa5T

The Southampton man has started the last two games in the Premier League but Leeds are hoping that the striker is made available for loan in January.
Adams sits behind Shane Long and Danny Ings in the pecking order and Leeds are hoping he might be surplus to requirements on the south coast.
If that’s the case, Leeds will look to snap him up for the rest of the season.
Is that a good move? That’s the simple question we asked our panel of Super Fans. This is what they said…

Jordy Phillips (@JordyP1993)
Adam Elliott (@adam_elliott118)
Barry Monaghan (@jbarrymon)
Tom Wardman (@twardman7)
Tim Aubert (@TimAubert)
Waz Moore (@Moorey73)
Nick Howe (@NickHow07209652)
That’s a clean sweep.
No one’s happy to see Eddie Nketiah go, but if he does, Che Adams is the man we want to replace him.
Victor Orta, do your thing.
