'Huge boost' – Exclusive: Paul Robinson thrilled by early reported Leeds team news v West Brom
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has said that it’s a “huge boost” for Leeds to have Eddie Nketiah available for the Championship clash against West Brom today.
The Arsenal loanee is set to be recalled but, according to Athletic journalist Phil Hay, he is available for selection against the Baggies on Wednesday.
Nketiah is still with Leeds and due to be in the squad at West Brom tomorrow. But strong indications that Arsenal intend to recall him. #lufc

Nketiah got his first league start of the season in the 5-4 win against Birmingham and could be called on again today if Patrick Bamford isn’t fit.
Bamford missed the win against Birmingham with a dead leg.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said, “Given Nketiah started the last game, it looks like Leeds are going to need him against West Brom.
“It’s a huge boost for Leeds, especially if Bamford isn’t going to be fit.
“But the fact he is being recalled isn’t good for Leeds at all,” Robinson added. “I think he is a good player who has been unlucky not to have had the game time.”
Talking about the game today, Robinson also said he was worried about the current state of the Leeds defence.
“West Brom are very good offensively,” he said. “To concede four away against Birmingham, yes they won the game, but the defence worried me when I watched the game.
“Especially when you’re going to West Brom, a side who can score goals freely – it will be a completely different proposition at The Hawthorns.”
Leeds go into the massive clash top of the Championship after the thrilling win at St Andrews.
West Brom are level on points but second on goal difference, while Fulham are nine points back in third.
The game kicks off at 5.15pm and is live on Sky Sports.
