Mateo Joseph whereabouts telling amid Leeds United exit talk
Mateo Joseph may well have hinted at where he will be playing his football next season with his time at Leeds United looking done.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with Real Mallorca in LaLiga.
Joseph played 29 matches in the Spanish top flight, starting 19 of those, and scored twice.
He also assisted a few goals, but it was a largely underwhelming campaign away from Elland Road.
However, Joseph indicated he wanted to sign for Mallorca permanently, having pushed for a move away from West Yorkshire 12 months ago.
And it may well be that the former Spain Under-21s international ends up back at the same club this coming season.

It is quite clear Joseph does not have a part to play at Leeds under Daniel Farke.
The Spaniard has made 73 appearances for Leeds in all competitions, 39 of those coming in the promotion-winning side of 2024-25.
A loan exit for Joseph is surely off the cards for this summer, though, as he will have just a year to run on his contract come the end of the season.
Having previously talked up a permanent move to Mallorca, Joseph posted an image on his personal Instagram account on Sunday showing him outside Palma airport.
There was no caption to accompany the picture, but it may well have been a not-so-subtle hint about where his future lies.
Regardless of where Joseph ends up, however, he will not be playing anytime soon.
What's the latest with Joseph's injury issue?
Joseph sustained an ACL injury in the latter stages of last season that will likely keep him out of action until 2027.
That is not to say he cannot still join another club, but they will of course be wary of tying down a player who has been out for the long term.
Mallorca have had a test drive of Joseph, so to speak, and know exactly what they will be getting in him.
The only roadblock then is agreeing a fee with Leeds, but the Whites are not expected to play hardball when it comes to that.
