Marc Roca agents in talks over Leeds United exit as Real Betis make midfielder number one target
Real Betis have made Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca their top midfield target for the summer transfer window, according to Football Espana.
The reliable Spanish website reported via their Twitter account on Tuesday (23 May) that “initial contact” has already taken place between the La Liga club and the 26-year-old midfielder’s representatives.
Leeds signed Roca from Bayern Munich for an initial fee of £10million in June last year [Sky Sports].
Get rid
As one of Victor Orta’s final signings at Leeds, Roca has failed to hit the heights that were expected of him.
When you sign a Spanish midfielder from Bayern Munich, you would expect to get yourself a player who’s a classy operator both on and off the ball and can make a massive difference to the side.

Roca, unfortunately, hasn’t done much of note at Leeds.
He’s played his role in our demise under Jesse Marsch and Javi Gracia with Sam Allardyce now overlooking him when naming his starting line-up for the last two matches.
After subbing him off 59 minutes into the loss at Manchester City, Roca was left as an unused substitute in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle and then played just six minutes at West Ham at the weekend.
Big Sam can see Roca’s not good enough, as should the next manager of Leeds.
Let’s cut our losses on him this summer even if we do get relegated because the Whites should be looking at players way better than the struggling Spaniard, who may not be cut out for English football.
