Manor Solomon ‘frustration’ revealed as Leeds United return on cards for January
Ex-Leeds United star Manor Solomon could be returning to England following a disappointing loan spell in Spain with Villarreal.
Solomon was on loan at Leeds last season and heavily contributed to the Whites’ title-winning Championship campaign.
The forward is currently on loan at Villarreal in La Liga, but recent reports are suggesting that he may return to his parent club, Tottenham, next month.
Following an update on Solomon‘s loan contract, a January return to Elland Road may now be more likely than ever.

Tottenham can trigger Manor Solomon return clause in January
Leeds have already been linked with Solomon this season, but it’s no surprise given how well the Israeli performed at LS11 last campaign.
The 26-year-old has played just 11 times in all competitions for Villarreal, and Daniel Farke could see January as the perfect opportunity to reunite with the winger.

- Goals: 10
- Assists: 13
- Promotions: One
GOAL reports that Solomon is “frustrated” with the lack of game time he is currently receiving in Spain, as his representatives are weighing up departing the La Liga side.
It’s also said that Spurs hold a clause in the forward’s loan deal that could see him return to North London in January, if triggered.
Should Solomon come back to Tottenham prematurely, the Lilywhites would likely loan him back out, but to a Premier League side.
All signs are now pointing towards Solomon donning a Leeds shirt once again.
Financial constraints mean Solomon move is sensible
Leeds are facing an uphill battle in January when it comes to signing new players.
Although Farke has turned the Whites’ fortunes around in recent weeks, the reality is that Paraag Marathe and Co. are limited to what they can spend in the winter market.
Leeds may have to sell players first before they can buy, but this only makes even more sense as to why Solomon could end up back at Elland Road.
Tottenham are not in a position to sell the attacker right now due to a lack of form, which means another loan move would be sensible from their perspective.
Given Leeds will not be able to spend much in January, the 49ers could explore the loan market, and Solomon may be the perfect signing to make.
