Romano reported on X on Friday (22 December) that the Premier League club completed the deal to sign the player after he passed his medical.

“Manchester City are planning to announce 2008 born top talent Finley Gorman as new signing early January…” Romano wrote on X.
Bright future
Gorman clearly has a very bright future ahead, with the 15-year-old attacker having registered two goals and one assist from his five Under-18 Premier League appearances this season.

The Elland Road club would have undoubtedly wanted to keep the youngster on their books for as long as possible, but they will have been powerless in preventing a footballing giant like Manchester City from swooping in.
The attacker will definitely need some time to develop, but Leeds will be confident of seeing Gorman line out for Manchester City in the near future.
Manager Pep Guardiola has proven in recent times that, even with a star-studded squad, there are plenty of opportunities for young players.
And Gorman can definitely use those players for motivation, with the likes of Phil Foden and Rico Lewis great role models at the Etihad.
The 15-year-old will be wished all the best from his current club before a very exciting switch to Manchester next month.
