LUFC Trust detail current whereabouts of Georginio Rutter amid Leeds United outrage

Leeds United Trust has revealed that Georginio Rutter is training at Thorp Arch after Brighton activated his release clause.

The Frenchman has been subject to a bid from the Premier League side with the trust confirming this in an update post to X on 15 August.

This came before they confirmed that the 22-year-old is still in training which may provide supporters with a faint glimmer of hope.

Georginio Rutter still in Leeds United training

The Whites could be in trouble if they are to lose their attacking dynamo who is the shining light in their squad right now.

This is even more evident after already losing Crysencio Summerville to West Ham United earlier on in the transfer window.

Daniel Farke’s side have had a tough start to the campaign with a draw to Portsmouth and a disappointing Carabao Cup thrashing at the hands of Middlesbrough.

This isn’t going to be made any easier by losing yet another one of his main stars which has been a consistent theme of this transfer window.

The manager hasn’t been helped by the fact that there has been a general lack of investment in the playing squad at Elland Road this summer.

If Rutter is to go, there is going to be plenty of disdain coming from fans moving forward if fresh faces aren’t brought in as soon as possible.
