Leeds United will not want to lose Raphinha in January, bound to attract bids – Phil Hay
Phil Hay claims Leeds United are bound to receive bids for Raphinha with the winger impressing yet again on Sunday in the 2-1 win over Norwich.
Raphina, 24, scored his fourth goal of the season at Carrow Road before winning Sky Sports’ man of the match award for his performance.
The Athletic journalist Hay now reports that while Leeds will want to avoid selling the Brazil international in January, offers are set to be made for him in the near future.

When asked how long Raphinha has at Leeds, Hay wrote on The Athletic’s website: “Very hard to say. He’s bound to attract bids. All a case of what they are and when they arrive.
“Needless to say, no way in the world that Leeds would want to lose him in January.”

Strength to strength
Raphinha gets better each time you watch him play.
On Sunday, we would not have won against Norwich without the influential former Rennes winger tearing it up down the right flank for the Whites.
He had the better of the Norwich defence almost every time he had the ball and his goal at Carrow Road was a thing of beauty.
Raphinha’s bound to attract glances from top clubs that are not only in England but also across Europe.
According to TeamTalk, Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing up the Brazilian attacker with Neymar telling the French club’s hierarchy to consider signing his international teammate.
We hope they don’t come in for Raphinha in January but next summer, we’d be shocked if the winger isn’t strongly linked with a move away from Elland Road and attracts serious bids from big-money clubs.
Leeds have the potential to be a massive club and a powerhouse of English football – but we’re not there right now.
Raphinha is good enough to play for clubs of that ilk.
