Leeds United want Kerim Alajbegovic as talks already held with agents
Leeds United will be hoping to push on from last season and improve on their 14th-place finish, and the arrival of Kerim Alajbegovic would certainly help.
The Whites, who were intertwined in a relegation fight for much of the season, ultimately steer clear quite effectively towards the end of the season.
Attacking signings such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor played quite a big role in that outcome, and now Daniel Farke may be looking for the next evolution of his attack.
Farke has spoken about setting new ambitions while in LS11, and while he was talking about the on-pitch version, that could also mean more ambitious moves in the market.
That ambition looks to be clear as winger Alajbegovic appears to be a target for Leeds United as they gear up for the transfer window.

What has been said about Leeds’ interest in Kerim Alajbegovic?
Leeds United fans may have an increased interest in Group C of the World Cup this summer already with Okafor and Switzerland competing in that group against Qatar, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada
Of course, former Leeds boss Jesse Marsch is also in charge of Canada. However, now Bosnian international Alajbegovic will be another within that quartet of international sides that may garner intrigue from Leeds fans.

According to the Daily Mail, Leeds are one of a number of sides that have already held talks over a move for Alajbegovic.
The Whites “have already met his representatives for talks” but face plenty of competition for his signature this summer.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Napoli, Roma and Inter Milan are among the other interested parties for the 18-year-old.
Bayer Leverkusen sold Alajbegovic to Red Bull Salzburg in 2025, but the German club had excellent foresight to include a buy-back clause.
The Bosnian winger is now set to return to the Bundesliga outfit ahead of next season. However, that has done little to quell any transfer rumours.
What could Leeds expect from Kerim Alajbegovic?
If the Whites are able to secure a move for the forward, they would certainly be landing a quality player. The arrival of Aljbegovic may ultimately confirm Gnonto’s departure, with the Italian falling down Farke’s pecking order.
Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has previously commented on the type of player Leeds would get, stating via Sport1: “Kerim has made incredible progress. He is extremely ambitious and developed incredibly quickly.

“He has an exceptional shooting technique, even outside the penalty area. That makes him really special. And I think he has the ambition to develop further in other areas as well.”
While out in Austria, Alajbegovic scored nine goals and picked up three assists. However, he could have had much more due to his nine big chances created.
