Leeds United transfer update emerges on Roland Sallai as talks progress in last 24 hours
Leeds United are unlikely to sign SC Freiburg winger Roland Sallai before the transfer deadline, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgian journalist wrote on 30 August that he believes the deal is off as he’s not heard anything about the Hungary international moving to Elland Road.
This comes as HITC reported on 29 August that the 27-year-old was keen on moving to Leeds ahead of the 11pm deadline.
Leeds United appear unlikely to make a new signing on transfer deadline day
The Whites roped in Ao Tanaka on transfer deadline day and that seems to be it for them in terms of their business.

While some signings do look promising, Leeds do not look stronger than they were last season and they still failed to secure promotion.
The chances of them finishing in the top two are bleak unless Daniel Farke miraculously manages to turn all the new signings into world beaters.
Fans will be hoping that there is still some work going on behind the scenes for new transfers and hopefully, there will be a pleasant surprise at the end of it.

Farke’s been eyeing a new left-back and maybe that’s a position that could be addressed sooner rather than later.
In other Leeds United news, a £15m update has emerged as the Whites are set to hold talks to sign a player with 90 Premier League appearances.
