Leeds United transfer news as Norwich and Celtic twist emerges in Hugo Bueno pursuit
Leeds United, Celtic, Feyenoord and now Norwich City are keen on signing Wolves left-back Hugo Bueno, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reported on 5 August that the 20-year-old fancies moving to Celtic and playing in the Champions League.
He is keen on leaving Molineux in a bid to play regularly and establish himself in senior football.
Hugo Bueno will be a quality signing for Leeds United
Leeds, facing a shortage of full-backs, can benefit from Bueno’s versatility and skill set.
The left-back’s ability to compete for a starting position with Junior Firpo, who is also highly regarded by Daniel Farke, would foster healthy competition within the team.
Moreover, Bueno’s experience in the Premier League, despite his young age, brings a level of maturity and understanding of top-tier football, which could be pivotal for Leeds in their pursuit of promotion.
His signing would not only strengthen Leeds’ defensive line but also provide depth and tactical flexibility to the squad.
However, signing him ahead of Celtic is going to be challenging as they will not only offer top-flight football but also the chance to play in the Champions League.

The Whites must continue their pursuit but at the same time keep their options open to sign other left-backs.
In other Leeds United news, a bidding war update emerges as the Whites want to sign an £8.5m-rated attacker.
