Leeds United told price to seal last-gasp Mohamed Belloumi transfer
Leeds United have been told that it could take around £5million for them to sign Farense attacker Mohamed Belloumi, according to A Bola.
The newspaper reported online (27 August) that the club’s president, Joao Rodrigues has suggested the fee ahead of a possible last-gasp transfer.
Daniel Farke’s men aren’t the only ones vying for his transfer, however, as both Marseille and Club Brugge have shown an interest.
Leeds to sign Mohamed Belloumi before 30 August?
Although Leeds’ squad has welcomed many new faces since the window opened, there are still a couple of areas within the team that could do with both bolstering and improving.
One of those is their wingers. The club have multiple wingers within their ranks but after losing both Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville, further reinforcement is needed.
The aforementioned duo were two of Farke’s best players so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that they sold for a combined total of around £65million.
Belloumi has been deployed on both wings throughout his career and has even been used as an attacking midfielder on occasion.

Last term was the most prolific of the Algerian’s career as he managed to score seven goals as well as assist his teammates on five separate occasions.
While these stats may not seem the most mind-boggling, the fact that these goal contributions came in Portugal’s top flight, showcases how much of a talent he is at just the age of 22.
Nothing is yet set in stone but for £5million, the deal seems too good to be true.
In other Leeds United news, Fabrizio Romano has sent a personal message to a player who’s now agreed to sign for the Whites.
