Fabrizio Romano has reacted to the news of Manor Solomon joining Leeds United on a season-long loan from Tottenham.

Leeds announced the 25-year-old winger's arrival via their official X account on Tuesday (27 August) after striking a temporary agreement with Spurs.

Solomon took to his personal Instagram account on Tuesday night to say that he was "delighted" to sign or the Whites, suggesting that he could make his debut on Saturday (31 August) against Hull City.

Italian transfer expert Romano was quick to reply, saying: "Vamos my friend."

Who will Leeds United next after Manor Solomon done deal?

It promises to be a busy week at Elland Road.

There's talk of Fortuna Dusseldorf's Ao Tanaka being a target for the Whites [Daily Mail] while Portuguese newspaper Record claims Farense's Algerian forward Belloumi is of interest in West Yorkshire.

Leeds could really do with a new striker and maybe a number 10 to play behind him but a lot of the rumours right now are suggesting that a new central midfielder could head to Elland Road.

Glen Kamara and Archie Gray both left Leeds earlier this summer, creating a bit of a void in the middle of the park.

Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev are great options there but aside from them, the Whites are a little bit light in terms of strength in depth.

Solomon is going to help out on the wings but as long as Daniel James and Willy Gnonto stay, he could be someone who we see rotated into the side every now and then or coming on in the second half of matches.

Either way, it's a good idea for Daniel Farke to provide some competition and strengthen his options with injuries no doubt kick in.
