Leeds United table ‘Stunning’ bid for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi transfer before August 30
Crystal Palace are set to turn down a stunning £15million bid from Leeds United for Jesurun Rak-Sayki, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist reported via his Patreon account [11 August] that the Eagles want their talented winger to be loaned out to Sheffield United instead, with Hull also interested.
It is understood that Leeds’ £15million offer, which included a down payment and bonuses, has come out of the blue, having been rocked by Marseille bidding for Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe.
Leeds United to miss out on Jesurun Rak-Sayki?
The 21-year-old winger is receiving interest from clubs all over Europe, not just the Premier League, so it is a good sign to see the Whites being so proactive.
Despite this, Daniel Farke’s side does look set to miss out on his signature, with the Blades looking most likely to seal a loan deal for Rak-Sakyi, which could be an even bigger blow after Crysencio Summerville’s exit.
It is clear that the left-wing spot is an area of concern following the Dutchman’s inevitable move to West Ham United, with the club also looking into Rowe, another 21-year-old talent.
A move for the Carrow Road star could be the next plan at Elland Road, especially after the player decided to be left out of Norwich’s opening game of the season against Oxford United [Connor Southwell].
While Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James are still occupying the wings for Farke’s side, it appeared against Portsmouth on Saturday 10 August that Leeds are already lacking their fiercest attacker.

Rowe or Rak-Sakyi would certainly go some way to fill that void, though both are at the very beginnings of their careers, so it is understandable why the latter could only be available on a loan deal.
While the Whites were able to score three goals in their opening match of the new Championship campaign, they were held to a 3-3 draw against newly-promoted Pompey.
