Leeds United attacker Rodrigo has enjoyed a mixed start to life at Elland Road since arriving from Valencia last year.

The Spaniard started on the bench against Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening but has stepped up in the absence of Patrick Bamford.

Barcelona have been linked with a surprise move for the Spanish international, although they have been shut down over the summer.

Phil Hay was taking questions for The Athletic this week, and was quizzed on Rodrigo’s future at the club and if that interest had disappeared.

“One interesting thing that came up in the [summer] window was Barcelona’s late interest in Rodrigo,” said Hay. “I’m presuming that interest is still there.”

Now, there is nothing concrete here to suggest that Barcelona are going to make a move in the imminent future.

Having said that, interest doesn’t just disappear and the Spanish giants could be closely monitoring his situation at Elland Road.

We asked our esteemed panel of MOT Super Fans if they would allow Rodrigo to leave at the response was overwhelming.

The majority opened the exit door for the attacker to leave and urged the Whites to cash in at the first possible chance.

Here’s what they said below…

It will be interesting to see what Leeds would do if an offer did come in for Rodrigo in the winter window next month.

Even if it did, it would need to be close to the £27million figure they paid when signing him from Valencia last year.

Time will tell.
