Leeds United ready huge Manuel Benson transfer, personal terms no issue

Leeds United have a huge interest in a deal to sign Manuel Benson from Burnley before August 30, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The Belgian journalist has reported that the attacker is about to leave Turf Moor, with a permanent exit likely to be confirmed shortly.

Personal terms are said to be no issue for Leeds, as well as other interested clubs such as Sunderland and Norwich City in the Championship too.

Leeds United ready Manuel Benson transfer

Fans are crying out for new transfers at Elland Road, especially after the confirmed exit of Georginio Rutter, who has joined Brighton for £40million.

With no sell-on fee going to Hoffenheim after rumours [Nancy Froston], Leeds have even more money to play with and Benson is surplus to requirements at our Championship rivals.

That should mean that the Whites won’t have to pay a big fee to Burnley, but there will likely be added costs due to being direct rivals and everyone knowing they have that much cash to spend now.

This will be one to watch in the coming days, with Sunderland star Jack Clarke also wanted back at Elland Road [Sunday Mirror], which would cost a lot more money.

With two attackers wanted though, those could be the two signings that transform the fortunes of Daniel Farke and Leeds after a slow start to the season.

Let’s hope this one can get over the line quickly, it is desperately needed.
