Leeds United: Nottingham Forest table offer to PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo
Nottingham Forest have already made an offer to Leeds United target Cody Gakpo as Manchester United and Arsenal also circle for the 23-year-old according to Footmercato.
The Mirror revealed (6 August) that the PSV man could cost Leeds £40million if they decided to make a move for him this summer.
It now appears any move will now be trickier, with big spending Nottingham Forest entering the race for the in-demand winger.

Footmercato claimed on Sunday 7 August, that Forest have tabled an offer to Gakpo ahead of a potential summer move, however, he could still remain at PSV if they reach the Champions League group stage.
Too much
A move for Gakpo does look rather unlikely at present with the forward very much an in-demand player.
If he does leave the Dutch side this summer, there is a good chance it will be a large fee due to PSV’s reluctance to sell him and the time left on his current contract.
There is no doubting that the 23-year-old would be a marquee signing for Leeds should he make the move to Elland Road and really add some attacking depth and quality to their lineup.
However, the versatile winger would almost certainly mean that an out-and-out striker wouldn’t come through the door at Elland Road in the coming weeks.
Jesse Marsch needs to add a striker to compete with Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo, with Bamford’s injury issues potentially a problem that the American needs to address.
After their victory against Wolves, it is clear that Leeds United are just a player or two away from having a really competitive squad for the upcoming Premier League season.
