Leeds United loan round-up: 49ers to see Joel Piroe pound signs, winger carves out key role
Leeds United have the chance to assess the progress of their summer loanees.
The international break affords Daniel Farke and his backroom team to pour over the data and performances of his Leeds players.
That includes those who aren't currently at Elland Road, as six of their players are out on loan.
With the Whites continuing to make progress in the Premier League, those on the fringes will have a tall order getting into the side moving forward.
But a fruitful temporary stint away from LS11 could be the pathway back, or indeed to, Elland Road relevance.

Largie Ramazani and Joel Piroe shining in the Championship
One of the last players to leave Leeds this summer, Largie Ramazani secured a season-long loan move to Burnley.
The 25-year-old winger hasn't turned out for the Whites since the 2024-25 campaign, and needs a big 2026-27 in order to come back into the fold.
He's made a good start in that pursuit, scoring once and providing one assist from his first five Championship games.
Even when he's not been providing a goal contribution, Ramazani has still been playing well for the Clarets, and looks set to play a key role for them.
As a result, they look set to be content paying his £8.5million obligation fee next summer, as confirmed via the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Joel Piroe is also out on loan in the second tier, with the 27-year-old signing for West Ham for the duration of this term.
He's made a very positive start as well, scoring three from his first seven league games, from which five of those have been starts.
The Suriname international appears on course to meet the criteria for his permanent move to the London Stadium as such.

Sam Chambers already carving out Northampton role
The very last player to leave Leeds this summer, Sam Chambers secured a deadline-beating deal to join Northampton Town on loan for the season.
However, the newly-relegated Cobblers currently sit just one place above the relegation zone in 22nd, winning only one of their opening seven league games.
Despite that, the 19-year-old has played in three of the four games he's been eligible in, starting in two of them, but is yet to find the net.
Chambers looks to be well on his way to winning a big role in Northampton's side this season, and should learn a lot at Sixfields.
Meanwhile, Wilfried Gnonto is already off the mark for Fiorentina, scoring in the Coppa Italia against Pisa on 15 September.
He's been unable to provide a goal contribution from his first three Serie A outings though, and hasn't made a start in Italy's top flight yet either.

Lucas Perri could soon lose grip on Torino role
Eventually sealing his move away from Elland Road, Lucas Perri has immediately been thrust into Torino's starting goalkeeper job.
He's started all four of his first four appearances in all competitions, but has conceded five goals and kept zero clean sheets.
Ignazio Abate does have highly-rated 19-year-old Diego Mascardi who he could be tempted to turn to if Perri doesn't improve his form soon.
Then there's Sebastiaan Bornauw, who has moved to Hamburg for the season.
Unfortunately, he's currently sidelined with a short-term muscle injury which has forced him to miss their last two games.
Bornauw had played every minute of his two Bundesliga games prior to that, as well as doing so on debut in the German Cup against SC Verl.
He should be fit again after the international break, and the early signs were he's going to be a key starting player for Hamburg this season.
