Leeds United eye Tottenham ace Manor Solomon as ‘offer’ update emerges
Tottenham have not received an offer from Marseille for Leeds United target Manor Solomon, according to Shay Lugassi.
The Barca Times journalist reported on 23 August that the Israel international has already turned down an offer from Getafe.
It’s understood that the 25-year-old fancies staying in England with Leeds keen on signing him on loan.
Lugassi wrote on X: “Manor Solomon rejected Getafe’s offer.
“More: Understand that there was no offer from Olympique Marseille to Solomon, contrary to reports.
“Leeds United also showed interest.
“The player’s priority right now is to stay in England.
“Salomon is expected to leave Tottenham on loan this summer.”
Leeds United must now convince Manor Solomon to move to Elland Road
Given the attacker’s desire to remain in England, Leeds could highlight their competitive position in the Championship with a strong promotion potential, offering him a pivotal role in their campaign.
They might also showcase their commitment to player development, ensuring the Israel international regular game time which is crucial for his career progression, especially after his limited appearances at Tottenham.
Additionally, Leeds could leverage the cultural fit, presenting a supportive environment with a passionate fan base, and possibly better financial terms within the scope of their budget.
The club’s management might also arrange for Solomon to meet with the coaching staff and current players to discuss tactical fit and team dynamics, making him feel valued and integral to their future.
Daniel Farke does play an attacking brand of football and that certainly will be exciting for the 25-year-old.
If he manages to play an important role in getting Leeds promoted, a permanent switch to Elland Road may very well be on the cards.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have now been offered another Premier League winger who’s likely to seal a Championship move before the 30 August deadline.
