Leeds offered chance to sign Hwang Hee-chan from Wolves with Wilfried Gnonto on stand-by
Leeds United have been offered the chance to sign Hwang Hee-chan before the transfer window shuts at 11pm on Tuesday.
Hwang, 30, has not appeared in any of Wolves' five matchday squads so far this season amid uncertainty surrounding his future at Molineux.
The South Korean striker has been previously linked with Leeds and reports from his home nation have revealed that Wolves are in talks to offload him before the summer window closes.
Leeds reportedly have the chance to sign Hwang on Tuesday, with his representatives sounding out a move to Elland Road.
And that's interesting to the Whites, because they need to bring in a striker before the transfer cut-off in around eight hours' time, as of the time of writing.

Why Leeds need a new forward
Wilfried Gnonto is currently on stand-by in Italy ahead of a move to Fiorentina.
The Leeds attacker has already been spotted in Fiorentina gear, but the move is yet to be confirmed because the Yorkshire giants are waiting on news of an incoming new forward before that deal can be sanctioned.
According to TeamTalk, Hwang is now being offered to Leeds but there's no suggestion in their report that the Whites are considering signing the South Korean.
It is understood that Crystal Palace, Hull and Burnley have also been contacted over an eleventh-hour move for the Wolves outcast.

Daniel Farke shouldn't really chance going into the season without an extra centre-forward option in his squad.
It's been repeated a lot but Dominic Calvert-Lewin is an injury-risk and Lukas Nmecha hasn't exactly set the Premier League alight at Leeds.
Hwang has plenty of Premier League experience at Wolves, but in 133 top-flight appearances, the ex-RB Leipzig striker has just 24 goals.
He's not the answer and it's likely that Leeds will snub the chance to sign him.
