Leeds learn how much it'll take to sign Ermedin Demirovic after personal terms reveal
Leeds United will need to pay around £17million in order to sign Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic this summer.
Demirovic, 28, was linked with a move to Elland Road in July with Sky Sports Germany reporting that Leeds were "in the mix" to sign the Bosnia & Herzegovina international.
Speculation surrounding the Stuttgart centre-forward has quietened down since, but with two years left on his contract and after scoring 15 goals last season, interested parties are still emerging.
According to the latest news in Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt have joined Leeds, Juventus and Fenerbahce in the race to sign Demirovic, who could net Stuttgart £17m if he leaves before the end of the summer transfer window.
German newspaper BILD reports that while the Bosnian would cost "a lot of money" for Frankfurt, he'd be cheaper than their other forward target, who is Nottingham Forest's Arnaud Kalimundo.
Leeds have also learned a vital piece of information on what it'll take to agree personal terms with Demirovic, should Daniel Farke and 49ers Enterprises meet Stuttgart's demands.
Ermedin Demirovic wages revealed amid Leeds hunt
BILD add in their report on Wednesday that Demirovic is earning £2.9m-a-year at Stuttgart, which equates to roughly £55,000-a-week.
Should he make the move from Baden-Wurttemberg to West Yorkshire, it is understood that he would get a pay rise at Elland Road.
That's understandable.
The Hamburg-born Bosnia international, who played in all four of his country's games at the World Cup this summer, ranked 12th in the Bundesliga for goals last term.
He scored 12 times in 25 appearances and out of the Bundesliga players who scored more than 10 goals, he ranked third for goal conversation (29.27%), as per Sofascore.

So far this summer, Leeds have signed winger Harry Wilson (free), defender Tarik Muharemovic (£34.1m) and James Trafford (£45m).
Signing Demirovic for £17m would take their spending to just shy of £100m.
Farke confirmed on Wednesday that Leeds business "is not done yet", suggesting that there are more irons in the fire to bring in new arrivals.
Demirovic is a striker who's available and has a good recent record in Germany, plus it helps that his international teammate Muharemovic has already settled down in West Yorkshire to potentially provide some support to a deal.
Leeds do need to sign a new striker, it's just whether or not they can find the right agreement before the transfer deadline, which is now less than three weeks away.
