Leeds handed ultimate Natan transfer boost after 'ace in the hole' masterstroke
Leeds United target Natan could be allowed to leave Real Betis in the ongoing transfer window.
The 25-year-old left-footed centre-back has been one of the best in LaLiga over the last few seasons and is attracting plenty of attention.
In recent months, the Whites have been linked with a move for the Brazilian star and they have been presented with an opportunity to sign him.
Betis are reportedly looking to balance their books for the 2025-26 campaign by using their "ace in the hole" and are ready to part ways with Natan, who has been a target at Elland Road for some time.
The former Napoli ace is someone who can generate significant profit for the Spanish club, having signed him for around £7.6million from Napoli in 2025 after his initial loan spell.
Daniel Farke is in desperate need of defensive reinforcements, as Pascal Struijk looks to be on his way to Brighton and Hove Albion.
Leeds United told Natan price tag
Recent reports suggested that Leeds were preparing an offer to sign Natan in the coming weeks.
Betis still have until the first 10 days of July to count Natan's sale towards the ongoing financial year if they can demonstrate that negotiations have been ongoing for some time, and the defender is expected to be at the centre of it.
According to ABC Sevilla on 29 June, the Brazilian centre-back is valued at £30m by the Spanish club and interested parties have been informed of the price tag.
Natan is considered a prime transfer target at Benito Villamarin after making 45 appearances for them in all competitions during the 2025-26 campaign.
Leeds need more firepower despite imminent arrival
While Leeds do need a few quality additions at centre-back ahead of next season, they should also be looking at signing a quality number nine.
Harry Wilson is expected to join the Whites as a free agent from Fulham, but Farke could do with more firepower up top despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin's decent spell in LS11.
The ex-Everton star's purple patch this season helped the West Yorkshire outfit avoid relegation, but he has shown inconsistency in recent months, which may have cost him a place in England's 2026 World Cup squad.
