Leeds backed to sign ‘fantastic’ Isidor as Sunderland exit verdict shared
Leeds United have been told to make a move to sign Wilson Isidor from Sunderland in the summer.
The Whites appear to be in line to earn promotion to the Premier League, sitting top of the Championship with just 13 games to go.
A last-gasp win thanks to Pascal Struijk against the Black Cats last time out only increased those hopes which could result in some big changes in the upcoming transfer window.
This could see Daniel Farke look to bring in a star from the Stadium of Light in Isidor who was on the scoresheet at Elland Road.

Leeds United told to sign Isidor from Sunderland by Carlton Palmer
The Frenchman signed for the North East outfit as an unknown quantity at the start of the season but has gone on to be a revelation.
The 24-year-old has netted 12 goals in all competitions, including one that capped off a positive performance against Leeds.
There was plenty to appreciate about his performance before and after he gave his side the lead before his strike was cancelled out by Struijk late on.

As a result of his showings, it is no surprise that the ex-Zenit man is being linked with a move away from Regis le Bris’ outfit ahead of the summer window opening.
Former Leeds midfielder Carlton Palmer has backed his old side to bring Isidor to LS11 if they are promoted to te Premier League and the Black Cats remain in the second tier.
Talking to Football League World (23 February), he said: “Spurs, Leeds and Crystal Palace have all been linked with Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor. He’s having a fantastic time at Sunderland. He’s settled down now, he’s scored 12 league goals this season.
“As I said at the start of the season, I fancied Leeds and Sheffield United to go up. I think that’s done and dusted now. But they’re on 62 points, and they should be guaranteed on that number of points, a play-off place. They’ve still got plenty of games to go.
“He’s been outstanding for them, he’s only 24. He’s shown great composure with his finishing. He’s really impressed with his attitude. But he’s under contract until 2028.
“So obviously the problem that Sunderland have got is that they will have to wait until the end of the season because they will be in the play-offs. A lot of their young players will be coveted by Premier League clubs. Obviously, one or two will leave if they don’t get promotion.”
Wilson Isidor to attract Leeds United attention this summer
It won’t come as a surprise to anyone associated with the Whites if a striker is signed ahead of next season.
The Whites spent the January transfer window in pursuit of Cameron Archer who eventually remained at Southampton and left Farke to trust the options already at his disposal.

With that being said, the Leeds head coach is likely to step up those efforts to bring a new forward in, in the summer and Isidor could prove to be that man.
First, it will have to be seen whether the Elland Road club earn a spot in the Premier League and then whether they can convince the Frenchman to leave Sunderland, where he appears to be extremely happy.
