Largie Ramazani looks set to leave Leeds United for Burnley before the transfer window closes.

The Belgian has featured 31 times over two years at Elland Road, after his move from Almeria in 2024.

The Whites signed him for £10million, but he failed to hit the heights for Daniel Farke's side.

The winger had hoped to re-join Valencia, where he spent last season on loan.

What is the latest on Burnley's pursuit of Largie Ramazani?

Leeds look to finally get Ramazani off their books after a long summer with plenty of speculation.

The Athletic's Beren Cross claimed via X on Monday that the Whites are finalising a permanent deal with the Clarets.

He stated that the details are being ironed out on a deal that would see the 25-year-old go to Turf Moor.

Ramazani has been deemed as surplus to requirements since last summer, and an a deadline-busting exit is moving closer.

Why did Ramazani not succeed at Leeds?

Ramazani's move to LS11 brought excitement, due to his pace and his 22 goals for Almeria.

However, he was never able to replicate that for the Whites, as he never fully earned the trust of Farke.

He was behind Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto when it came to the pecking order on the flanks, and could never overhaul them.

It was no surprise when he went on loan last season, because if he could not make it in the Championship, how was he supposed to hold his own in the Premier League.

After the Peacocks stayed in the top flight, his exit was always going to be likely.

It was just whether clubs entered the race for his signature or not, and if the conditions of the deal suited Leeds.
