Joel Piroe could have Premier League transfer plans as Leeds uncertainty remains
Joel Piroe seems to have no intention of leaving the Premier League despite struggling at Leeds United.
The Suriname international was a key player for the Whites in the Championship, but has dropped down in the pecking order under Daniel Farke since promotion.
There was plenty of speculation around the centre-forward's future in the winter transfer window as he continued to warm the bench.
Piroe now surely faces an uncertain future at Elland Road this transfer window, but he may yet stay in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old was the leading goalscorer in the Championship during the 2024-25 campaign and will undoubtedly now hope to make a mark in the English top flight.

Speaking to Flashscore on 21 July, Piroe said, "Personally, it's been a good season to see the Premier League and to adapt, but unfortunately, I didn't have a key role in the season.
"At the same time, it kept some pressure off me to properly adapt to the league, because it's been my first season in the Premier League."
Daniel Farke could be left with transfer headache at Elland Road
MOT Leeds News covered reports of Celtic's interest in Piroe in January, but he decided against a move.
The Suriname international clearly isn't trusted by Farke at the Whites and adding a reliable goalscorer before the window closes should be a priority in LS11.
As things stand, 49ers Enterprises seem to be working on a tight budget and may need to offload Piroe before investing in the position.
If the Netherlands-born forward is adamant about not leaving the West Yorkshire outfit, Farke could potentially be forced to rely on someone he doesn't have faith in.
